SER-Jobs for Progress, Inc., San Joaquin Valley (SER) was founded in 1973 as a non-profit, 501(c) 3 community based organization. Today SER provides services to residents in 22 counties throughout California and operates an annual budget over $8 million.
SER’s executive management has decades of experience in program development, and project and fiscal management. SER’s President/CEO, Jesus Padron, brings to the table more than four decades of senior level management and administrative experience. He leads a management team that administers a diversified portfolio of employment and training programs, affordable housing projects, and oversees a staff over 80 fulltime and part-time employees.
President/CEO Jesus Padron adds over 40 years of administrative experience in implementing policies (local, state, and federal), administering budgets, managing, planning, reporting, supervising classified and certified personnel, developing and implementing new programs. Mr. Padron’s professional experiences are derived from both the non-profit and construction industries.
Vice President of Program Operation, Michael Jimenez, has over 25 years of experience working with grant funded projects. This includes managing grants from the U.S. Department of Education, Labor and the local Workforce Investment Boards and state grants.
