PARENT ADVOCACY FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION

PASE was designed to help curb the inefficienies of the Local Educational Agencies in providing Special Educational Services to children of color. The project / initiative is to supportpParents with disabled children by providing full advocacy that includes but is not limited to participation in the students Individual Educational Program (IEP) meetings throughout the child’s educational journey.

On a long-term basis, PASE intends to penetrate the systemic issues within special education programs statewide and shift the culture to provide more equitable, and positive outcomes for
special education children and their Parents.
